One of the largest product categories in the consumer electronics industry is the loudspeaker category and there are literally thousands of manufacturers that make up this space.

GTL Sound Labs is one of those companies that are in the loudspeaker market and the almost 35-year-old company offers a range of products for installers looking for something new within the speaker category.

Included in the company's products is the AE 963 in-wall loudspeaker. The 963 utilizes a 9-inch woven carbon-fiber woofer with a 2-inch voice coil, 40oz vented magnet and butyl rubber surround. The speaker's midrange unit is a 5.25-inch poly-paper driver with a 1.5-inch voice coil, 25oz vented magnet and rubber surround. Finishing up the speaker's driver array is a 3-inch titanium silk-dome tweeter with a 1-inch voice coil and 12.7oz vented magnet fitted into a lens assembly to help the tweeter produce a wide and even dispersion pattern.

The speaker's drivers and crossover are sealed within an enclosure and damped with lamb’s wool, and installers can mount the speaker horizontally or vertically depending on the application.

Specifications: 8 Ohm, 26Hz-20kHz, 11 7/8" x 16" x 3 7/8
